Let me tell you a brief story about what is happening here at central America.

The tropical depression twelve-e hit us about 48 hours. It is still raining not so hard like yesterday but still raining and we are very worry about it. The soils are very saturated with water already because the winter. We had since two days ago landslides, and flood in some areas.

The authorities said that by now there are already 20 deaths at our district, because the landslides and floods. We are waiting for other 48 hours of rain.

In Panajachel where the regional office is, there is a river “San Francisco” it grew so big, five houses were down because the river, two bridges and two roads. We are isolated because the roads are down/close because landslides.

Yesterday I went to visit a friends living at the shore of a mountain, when I was there a landslide came down, we had to run faster with women and children crying and the river was just behind us, it was a nightmare.
